Last Hearing of the Lake Havasu Trip

Today I wrapped up my second hearing in Lake Havasu for the week. Because of our reputation, we are hired on a regular basis to represent clients in Lake Havasu. Clients trust us and know that when their livelihood is on the line, they need the best representation possible. The client this morning was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The facts of the case were a little shaky. Client was a college student who came from a very nice family. This was not a criminal and did not deserve to have his life ruined for a possession of marijuana conviction. My office worked hard with client to gather quite a bit of information about his good character and his positive upbringing. I interviewed the police officer to gather facts that were not in the police report.

Based on the information we gathered from our client and from the arresting police officer, we were able to craft a defense that resulted in the possession of marijuana case being dismissed. As a college student, he would have experienced significant obstacles with a possession of marijuana conviction on his record. I’m glad we were able to achieve another success story for this client. Marijuana, or any other conviction for drug possession, will have significant effects on a person’s life. In this difficult time, you need an attorney you can trust to fight for you and protect your future. Our lawyers would be more than happy to speak with you about your possession of marijuana or paraphernalia case.
