Mesa Woman Ran Over Her Husband for Not Voting.

On November 12, 2012, a Mesa woman allegedly ran over her husband because he didn’t vote.  Apparently, the couple got into an argument in a parking lot – one thing led to another and the woman got into her jeep and began chasing her husband.  Her husband was rushed to the hospital and is now in critical condition.  The woman has been charged with aggravated assault.Because we are a premier personal injury and criminal defense law firm, there are two things I would like to discuss about this incident.  What started as a domestic argument quickly got out of hand and now the woman is facing a very serious felony.  A person commits aggravated assault if the person causes serious physical injury to another or if the person uses a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. This type of aggravated assault is a class 3 felony, which carries a presumptive sentence of 2.5 years in prison along with probation and fines.

With respect to a personal injury case, even though it may have been his spouse who ran him over, he is still able to pursue a personal injury claim, even if he and his wife are under the same insurance policy.  My law firm is experienced in representing clients in Mesa, Arizona who have been injured in a car accident or are facing a criminal charge.  Call a lawyer today to discuss your personal injury or criminal case for free.  We fight hard to protect our clients’ rights and make sure they receive the best possible outcome for their case.  As soon as you hire our firm, you will quickly see why we are a highly respected law firm.
